Description

The SPLNG facility is the original LNG import and regasification terminal built at Sabine Pass, commissioned in April 2008 as the largest LNG receiving terminal in the world by regasification capacity at the time. It occupies the same 853-acre site along the Sabine Pass River as the SPL liquefaction trains, and continues to operate as a regasification facility alongside the export operations.
