The Skikda refinery consists of several units distributed as follows:- Two atmospheric distillation units, Topping (U10/11)
- Three gas separation and treatment units (U30/31/104)
- A bitumen production unit: vacuum distillation (U70)
- A pretreatment and catalytic reforming unit 1: Magnaforming (U100)
- A pretreatment and catalytic reforming unit 2: Platforming (U101/103) subject of our study
- An aromatics extraction unit (U200)
- A paraxylene crystallization and separation unit (U400)
- Milex unit (U600)
- A Thermoelectric Power Plant (CTE1050)
- Blowdown System: flare (U1090)
The refinery also includes other annexed units:
- An effluent treatment unit
- A storage park for finished and semi-finished products
