The existing Gorakhpur Fertilizer unit of Fertilizer Corporation of India Ltd. (FCIL) is located at about 12 km north from Gorakhpur town in eastern part of Uttar Pradesh on NH-28. It has excellent connectivity both by road and rail. The Gorakhpur Air Port which is 21 km from Gorakhpur Fertilizer unit has direct flights to and from Delhi and Kolkata. TOYO,Japan the LSTK contractor has declared the mechanical completion on 30th October 2021.The SCOD of GKP Project is expected shortly.
