Description

Petroquímica Mexicana de Vinilo, S.A. de C.V. (PMV) is a Mexican petrochemical company operating a chlor-alkali and by-products production complex at the Complejo Petroquímico Pajaritos in Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz. Originally established in 1981 as a state-owned enterprise, it was incorporated in its current form in 2013 as a joint venture between Mexichem (now Orbia) and PEMEX Etileno (PPQ-CP), and has been a wholly-owned subsidiary of Orbia since July 2018 following Mexichem's acquisition of Pemex's stake. It operates within Orbia's Polymer Solutions business group under the Vestolit brand.
