Description

Full-Density Range Polyethylene or Full Density Polyethylene refers to linear polyethylene products covering the full range of densities from 0.915 to 0.962 g/cm3 including LLDPE, MDPE and HDPE produced with low-pressure catalytic processes. The number of short branches in FDPE depends on the concentration and type of olefin comonomer copolymerized with ethylene. This product type is selected when a polyethylene production plant in a site model is designed for producing linear polyethylene products with variable densities but the split between LLDPE, MDPE and HDPE is not known.
