Nestled alongside the Gulf of Kutch, 150 kilometres from the western coastal frontier of India, Jamnagar is home to Reliance Industries biggest capex investment in the petrochemical business. RIL’s Jamnagar Refinery and Petrochemical Complex, envisioned back in 1996 led to the development of the world’s largest grass-roots refinery complex, with a capacity of 27 MMTPA, delivered in a record thirty-six months.
The refinery is located in the Domestic Tariff Area (DTA).
