Shandong Yulong Petrochemical Co., Ltd. was established on June 28, 2019. It is a mixed-ownership enterprise with private enterprises as the controlling shareholder and state-owned enterprises as the participating shareholders.

The 40 million tons/year Yulong Island Refining and Chemical Integration Project invested and constructed by the company is a major project for Shandong Province's industrial transformation and upgrading to promote high-quality development and a benchmark project for the transformation of new and old kinetic energy. The project implements the overall plan and is implemented in two phases. The first phase of the project mainly constructs 20 million tons/year of refining, 3 million tons/year of ethylene, 3 million tons/year of mixed xylene, as well as gasoline, aviation kerosene, diesel, ethylene glycol, HDPE, UHMWPE, PP, EVA/LDPE, butylene rubber, integrated rubber and ABS and other deep processing units.
